Children, ages 12 and younger, may use the Children's computers with a valid Alhambra Civic Center Library card. Parents can get their child a card by filling out the following application and return it to the Circulation Desk. A valid California ID with current address is required. For more information, please see our Borrowing Guidelines.
The Children's Computers allow young users to use MS Office and the Internet. Children have a maximum of two hours to use the computers each day. The computers DO NOT have computer game programs installed; however, there is a collection of game links for children to select from.
Also, children ages of 12 year and younger must be accompanied by an adult at all times while in the Library using computers. Also, children will only be able to use the computers in the Children's Room. Please see the Unattended Child Policy for more information.
Adults ARE NOT allowed to use the children's computers under any circumstance. Each child needs their own Library card in order to use these computers. Please see the following policy for more information.
