CLASS VISITS

A class visit is a
wonderful way to introduce your students to the many
services provided by the Alhambra Library. Please
contact the Librarian (626) 570-3215 ext 5622, to
arrange a visit with your class.
During the
class visit our professional staff can:
- Provide
a tour of the Library
- Tell
students how to get their own Library cards
-
Introduce Library resources available for class
assignments, homework, after school, and recreation use.
- Teach
students how to use Library resources. Discuss the value
of the Library and encourage young people to read.
-
Introduce the class to books on topics of your choice.
- Present
story and/or film programs.
In order to
have a successful Library class trip please remember:
- Schedule
visits two weeks in advance.
- Arrive
on time.
-
If you
want students to receive Library cards on the day of the
visit, arrangements must be made in advance with Library
staff.
-
Teachers, aides, and accompanying parents are expected
to remain with and maintain discipline of the class
during the visit.
