Please save the date for a very special conversation with Lori Gottlieb, a psychotherapist, New York Times bestselling author of Maybe You Should Talk to Someone, nationally recognized journalist, and weekly “Dear Therapist” columnist for The Atlantic. Presented by the California Center for the Book, a virtual conversation is scheduled for Wednesday, May 26th from 6:00pm – 7:00pm. More information and registration will be shared soon.

Rising Strong Day

Join us at the Almansor Park walking trail on Friday May 21st all morning for Rising Strong Day. As you walk the track, watch for inspirational posters from Brené Brown's book Rising Strong; the posters will serve to uplift and inspire. This program is free to attend and no registration is required!

Pop Up Tea Library

Join us on Friday, May 7th at 10:30am in Granada Park for our free Pop-Up Tea Library. Start your day off outdoors with good tea! And you can bring a book to read in the park or go for a walk. No reservations required; while supplies last.

NAMI es la segunda más grande organización dedicada a mejorar las vidas de gente que viven con enfermedades mentales y sus familias.

NAMI presents In Our Own Voice

Join us on April 29th at 6pm for the National Alliance on Mental Illness presentation, In Our Own Voice. In Our Own Voice is designed to provide insight into what it is like to live with mental illness. Presenters will discuss their personal story from their early symptoms to their day-to-day life. They discuss the hardships and misconceptions of living with mental illness.

NAMI is the nation’s second largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to improving the lives of individuals and families affected by mental illness.
