Alhambra Civic Center Library's Book Club, the Alhambra Page Turners, has moved to Zoom! Join us for a discussion of the novel The Island of Sea Women by Lisa See. Set on the Korean island of Jeju, The Island of Sea Women is the story of the friendship of two haenyeo, Mi-ja and Young-sook, two girls from very different backgrounds, as they begin working in the sea with their village’s all-female divers. Join us Friday mornings at 11am for a lively discussion.
